The busy holiday season is upon us! That means that it’s the perfect time to show you some tips for using Humanity to schedule your team better.
Knowing which employees are available to take open shifts during this hectic time of year is essential.
Thankfully, this is very simple to set up in Humanity!
First, make sure the option for OnCall management is enabled under the account settings: Admin tab > Account Settings > Schedule > Check the box to enable OnCall Management.
Be sure to press the Save button once the box is checked.
On the Schedule tab, create the shift(s) and set up Open Slots.
This is how the shift will appear when open shifts have been selected:
Next you’ll want to assign the on call option to staff. Click on the shift and the shift edit window will appear.
Select the phone icon to the right of each staff member’s name. Click Save & Close.
Finally, press Publish. This will notify all staff on the shift of the schedule update.
