The new Tasks feature at Humanity allows you to assign more detailed and specific shifts to your employees than ever before.
Using our new Tasks system, you can include a message to employees when scheduling new shifts that is going to tell them exactly what their responsibilities will be during that shift.
For example, if you are running a restaurant and you want to tell one of your workers that they are going to be in charge of closing up that night, you can include that task in the shift description.
It’s a simple feature, but definitely incredibly useful when you need your employees to take care of very specific responsibilities during their shifts.

Before you can start using it, you need to turn on Tasks. You can do this by clicking on the Admin tab and then on Account Settings.
Check the box and then make sure to go back to the top of the menu and click “Save Settings.”
After refreshing your screen, it will be activated.
To start creating tasks, click on the Staff tab and then on Manage Tasks.
To assign a task to one of your employees, you need to edit a shift that you have created. Click on the check mark on the right to open the Assign Tasks window inside the shift editing window.
Now choose the task and employees you want assigned to that shift.
Once you have published the schedule, employees will receive notifications that not only tell them what shifts they are working but the tasks they need to complete during these shifts as well.
Employees can see the tasks that are assigned to each of their shifts in the Schedule view as well.
