Simplify Schedule Forecasting With Humanity’s New Module

A new level of efficiency and optimization is coming to your staff scheduling experience by way of Humanity’s new Forecast module.

Using this new module, businesses will be able to import their most vital KPIs into Humanity and create better, more optimal staff schedules against vital business data.

How does it work?

Say your business has sales data, customer service call volume data or any other type of business data that you deem vital to the process of analyzing the performance of your business.

You can now take that data, import it into Humanity and forecast it out into the future in order to create optimized schedules for your employees that coincide better with your business needs.

For example, business owners can set a rule of X sales to Y employees and Humanity will help them to build out optimal schedules by clearing showing them when they are over or understaffed. With sales data inputted into Humanity, the Forecast module can graph out sales peaks and valleys and makes sure that you are scheduling the optimal number of employees based on those sales trends.

The Forecast module ultimately serves to help you spend less time creating staff schedules but also save money by optimizing them and increasing workforce efficiency.

Easy Data Integration

When using the Forecast module, you can input data into the system manually. However, if you want to simplify and speed up the process considerably, the module can be very easily integrated through our API to automate the in-flow of external data into Humanity.

Volume/Demand Planning

Input any key data drivers that are important to your business – whether it’s foot traffic, sales, phone calls, support tickets or anything other data you rely on – and plan your schedule based on this information to always have the right number of employees scheduled according to your most relevant KPIs.

Over/Under Scheduling

Humanity’s rule-based scheduling features make it easy for schedulers to determine whether they are over or understaffed at any time of the day. This helps maximize efficiency and increase productivity.

You can also create multiple forecast types in order to perform comparisons. Leverage your historical scheduling data that’s stored in Humanity and revisit your past forecasts in order to gain insights and continue to improve and perfect your scheduling process.

Compare Forecast vs Actual Data

The Forecast module not only allows you to store your predicted or forecasted scheduling values, you can also update the forecast later and input the “actual” data and then compare the two in order to learn from the process and identify shortcomings and needed improvements.
