Flagstaff Music Festival started out ten years ago as a way to raise funds for a student scholarship at Northern Arizona University’s Cline Library. Since then, we have formed as a separate nonprofit dedicated to celebrating local music and the Flagstaff music scene. We have grown from a small event in a local theater to a two-day Festival held outdoors on Heritage Square in the heart of historic downtown Flagstaff, Arizona.
We may use up to 25 volunteers for the Festival and associated fundraisers. Scheduling a different group of people each year for tasks that occur over two days and sometimes change from year to year is always a challenge. The work scheduler Humanity allows volunteers to easily tell us their availability so that we can better schedule folks across the many roles.
Church & Volunteer

Our previous employee scheduling method consisted of a spreadsheet.
Because it is web-based, the work scheduler allows us to make decisions in the moment as issues arise or changes occur. I have recommended Humanity to several other organizations and we have found that their support team is excellent. Humanity makes it easy to collaborate on a schedule without having to be together.
