We were founded in 1939 by residents of Delanco, NJ who wished to provide medical aid and transport sick and injured to the hospital. Since then the Delanco Emergency Squad has provided 100% free care and transportation to the hospital via ambulance to our patients. We operate solely off of donations.
We have 70 volunteers and since we are all volunteers many of us are in school full time, working a job, or even both. We needed an easy to use, widely accessible work schedule maker.

We tried Word document tables and Excel spreadsheets, which got the job done, but it was time consuming, confusing, and we still ended-up with “gaps” (empty shifts) in our schedule. Many of our volunteers also forgot when they were scheduled because the schedule was only available, on a printed paper that was hung-up at our building. This was not practical at all!
With this work schedule maker our schedule is now accessible 24/7 from ANYWHERE! Our volunteers are reminded via text and email of their shifts, can sign-up for shifts, which aids us in fill scheduling gaps faster and volunteers can trade shifts on their own! Before, if someone needed off or needed someone to find coverage for them it meant texting and calling around to members. Now, the volunteer can put in the request on the schedule and the work schedule maker takes care of the rest!

One of my personal favorite features is the built in text message and email reminders and the ability to sync my volunteer schedule to my Google calendar which syncs to my phone!!
