Protecting our clients and their employees is half of the equation, protecting their data is other half. Here is a brief overview of the steps that Humanity has taken to ensure that your data is protected, and highly available:
Humanity provides an optional Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to access your account. This provides 256bit encryption between your computer and our servers ensuring that no one can snoop in on the data during transit.
All passwords are salted and encrypted with SHA1 encryption algorithm. Never are they stored in a human readable format. Click on either of the links to learn more.
Humanity automatically logs out users after five minutes of inactivity. This ensures that user accounts are safe even if a user leaves the computer with their account still logged in.
Employees have the ability to set different settings for how their information is used, and how they are notified.
Humanity’s data center is located in Fremont, California. The data center is monitored 24/7 to ensure that the servers are always safe.
