Creating employee schedules can be an extensive and time consuming process. With Humanity’s proprietary cutting edge software, you can import schedules with the click of a button. No longer do you have to worry about spending hours transferring schedules and employee data into your new software. Humanity’s ‘Import Schedule’ feature allows you to save precious time and allows you to focus more on building your business.
Our integrated software allows you to import schedules (as an .XLS or .CSV file) directly into our scheduling application, and your schedules will be instantly ready to share with your staff! It is the easiest and fastest way to bring in employees, schedules and shift times, all at once.
To get started, go to the ‘Schedule’ tab and click on the ‘Action / Settings Gear Icon’, shown below. Click on ‘Schedule Import’ from the resulting drop down menu.
The window below will appear and you will be able to upload and import your schedule. Your uploaded document must follow the format, shown below, in order for the application to accurately and efficiently parse out schedules, employees and shifts from your file.
When your file is ready to be uploaded, navigate to the ‘Choose File’ button and select it. Locate the correctly formatted file you would like to upload and select ‘Open’. Finally select ‘Import File’ and you are all set.
Once your file has been upload you can view all current shifts. Check the shifts you would like to upload to your scheduler.
Once you’ve selected all the shifts you’d like to import, your schedule will refresh and the new uploaded shifts will be visible. You will be able to make changes to the schedule as usual, both before and after you publish the schedule.
