Throughout the past few months we’ve been receiving several requests from users that want more control over their user permissions as well as more efficiently delegate the management of employee specific actions such as vacation requests & shift pick-up & trade requests. Here is an overview of the new groups:
The most basic privileges. Permissions can be granted on specific schedules if needed to manage that schedule only.
Manage specific Schedules & their Staff as well as be the first to approve shift trade requests,etc.
Manages all Schedules & Staff + Wages
Manages everything including Permissions & Admin Settings
The two main changes are the implementation of the Supervisor group as well as the delegating event approving to the specific group rather then going management wide like we currently do.
By default all current ‘Schedulers’ will become ‘Supervisors’. Once the new permissions are implemented we recommended setting them up once again as ‘Schedulers’ with permissions to specific schedules/staff to take advantage of these new options.
