Humanity is now offering our users the chance to socialize staff scheduling by integrating our employee management software with other applications including the popular social media website, Facebook. Humanity allows businesses to mingle the processes of scheduling, staff management and time clocking (clocking in and out of shifts) with Facebook. Whether you are uploading employee information, updating your own information or updating your Facebook status, Humanity makes it easy for you to keep well connected with your employees, customers and social circles.
Connecting Facebook and Humanity Profiles
In order to sync Facebook and Humanity profiles, users can use the Setup Wizard or click the ‘Facebook’ link under their staff profile image within their personal Humanity profile.
When you click the ‘Facebook’ link, you will see the following screen, where you can click ‘Connect Facebook’:
Click ‘Allow’ below the pop-up screen shown below, to allow Humanity to access your Facebook profile.
Adding Employees With Facebook for Fast Staff Scheduling
Easily add employees to your staff list through Facebook to expedite the process of building an extensive staff list and begin your staff scheduling process. When you are under the ‘Staff’ tab and click ‘Add Employees’, you will have the option to add employees via several external sources.
Click on the ‘Facebook’ icon, enter your Facebook log in information and you will be presented with a list of your Facebook friends on the right. Select the desired individuals and click ‘Save Employees’ to add them to your Humanity staff list. It is important to note that Humanity does not have access to their e-mail addresses, so invitations must be sent to the necessary employees or e-mail addresses can be manually added to our employee management software.
Updating Your Facebook Profile Through Humanity
With our new release, employees are able to update their personal Facebook status directly from the Humanity application. By linking Facebook with the Humanity application, employees can sync relevant information, such as their profile picture, and, furthermore, have the option of signing into Humanity with either their Facebook or Humanity log in information.
Once your Facebook account has been linked to your Humanity employee profile, you can update your Facebook status by simply selecting from several options from the drop down menus shown below:
