At Humanity we understand that no two businesses are the same. This means that Humanity needs to be able to adapt to handle a wide range of employee scheduling methods as well as provide customizable settings for who can access what within the system.
From the Day one we’ve allowed Employees to be divided up into three different groups:
– Manager: All Schedules / Staff / Permissions
– Scheduler: All Schedules
– Employee: Own Schedule / Schedule by Schedule

These three groups cover the majority of businesses, however doesn’t do a lot for businesses that require tighter control on the type of information that their employees have access to.
Today we’ve launched 3 new settings that allow Managers greater control on the type of information available to their employees:
Employees can view staff gallery
Allowing employees to view the staff gallery is a great way for employees to get to know each other, remember names, and faces.
Employees can view staff contact details
This option adds extra details to the staff gallery by allowing employees to view one another’s contact information: Phone, E-mail, Birthday
(In order for this to be on staff gallery must be on.)
Employees can send private messages
With this option off employees will not be able to send private messages on the Humanity platform to one another. They will still be able to receive messages from Management and reply to them.
