The new Humanity update is introducing a new format for employee names. The previously used Full Nameformat has been changed to First Name and Last Name.
Once you log in, you will be informed of this change through the inline notification that will prompt you to review and verify the names for your staff.
If you decide to do this later, you can always access this feature through Admin >> Format Employee Names.
Once you are done with these changes, you can access the display format for employee names on Admin >> Account Settings >> Staff Settings.
Here you can choose four different display formats:
- First Name Last Name
- Last Name, First Name
- First Name, Last Name Initial
This way you can modify the name format according to your internal needs. This will also eliminate potential conflicts between your schedule and payroll reports.
Nicknames can be useful to avoid confusion if you have several employees with the same first and last name.
