LDAP Active directory integration allows managers to import employees from the Active directory server directly to the Humanity application, in a similar fashion to how we deal with importing staff from Facebook and Google.
- Login as a Manager
- Go to Staff >> Add Employees
- At the bottom-right side you’ll see Active Directory button
When you click on the Active Directory button, you will get pop-up window, like in the image below:
Select the Custom option from the drop down menu and fill out the form. After you have entered all the information, you can proceed by clicking on the Fetch button. Your host info and login details (excluding password) will be saved for later usage. You just need to choose from the Use Host select menu LDAP Host Title that was previously used.
- Fetch will retrieve data from the LDAP host. If there is any new data on LDAP server “fetching” will retrieve all new users.
- Sync will remove all the users from the list that have been removed from the LDAP server.
If you have inserted valid data, your Contact List will be filled with LDAP Data:
Select staff members from the list, and they will be moved to the list on the left side of the screen (SP Add Employees Form). After you are done, just click Save.
