Using the new mobile app, employees will be able to perform just about every action that they can perform using Humanity’s desktop app right on their smartphones.
And while the mobile app has been designed from scratch to give employees a user experience tailored to their mobile devices, the structure of the application is still very familiar.
The Dashboard shows employees all their most vital work information at a glance. They can see:
–Their next shift
Staff can even clock in right from the Dashboard or click on the Message Wall to see if there are any new company-wide announcements to read.
Just like the Humanity desktop platform, this is the central area of the mobile app where employees can do the following:
–See all of the upcoming shifts
–Navigate their calendars to see past and upcoming shifts
–View shift details (who is working with them, shift notes, etc.)
–Request to trade or release a shift
–See their coworkers’ shifts
Staff can clock in and out of shifts and confirm their locations for management with GPS.
They can also clock in and out of breaks with the app.
If employees want to see their timesheets to get some insight into how many hours they have worked recently, they can do that as well.
Here employees can see a full list of all their coworkers and view everyone’s personal details and contact information.
Employees can also use the app to chat with coworkers on the go. They can send direct messages or emails to individual coworkers or groups.
Employees can immediately see how many days they have left and put in a vacation request to management right from their phones.
Staff can put in both regular and hourly leave requests and view the status of each request in real-time to see whether it has been approved/rejected or is still pending.
If employees have any pending requests for shift trades from their coworkers, the requests will appear in this section of the app.
