Managers and schedulers can now get email or SMS notifications when employees have not clocked in at the start of their shifts or if the employees have not clocked out of when their shift is over.
Each manager or scheduler can choose whether he wants to receive these notifications by enabling or disabling the reminders at
Dashboard >> Profile >> Notifications >> Schedule.
Both managers and schedulers can have specific preferences set for notifications. These can be accessed at Admin >> Account Settings >> Time Clock.
Here you can set the time intervals when managers and/or schedulers will receive the reminder notifications.
For “Employee late for work” reminders the following time interval options are available:
For “Employee has not clocked out of finished shift” reminders the following time interval options are available:
This new feature is useful to keep track if your employees are late for work so you can respond accordingly and find a replacement. Also you will be aware if the employee hasn’t clocked out after the end of his shift, which will help you to better handle overtime hours.
