Humanity’s online time clock software gets rid of the need for expensive stand-alone equipment while saving you valuable time when it comes to processing time sheets. We make this process as seamless as possible, from employees clocking in and out of their shifts to approving and checking time sheets (as a manager) to taking your employee work data directly to your favorite payroll provider. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary tools and features to continue to make this process easier, faster and head-ache free.

In addition to our time clock feature that allows you to manually add clock times, we give you the ability to bulk add clock times as a time sheet. You can upload more than one clock time, even if the clock times are for two different employees. This feature will expedite and streamline time clocking even further.

To get started, go to the ‘Time Clock’ tab and click ‘Upload Time Sheet’ on the left hand side. Here, you can choose a file to import and directly upload the information into our application.

Humanity allows time sheets to be uploaded in both .XLS and .CSV formats. Please make sure that the spelling for each name and schedule is matched exactly in the system, otherwise they will not save. Below is the accepted format, and the way that the uploaded document should be structured (exact column names and order).

Employees Can Import Time Sheets 
As a manager, you can give your employees the ability to import time sheets. If you allow staff to upload clock times in bulk as a time sheet, they will follow the same method as a manager (outlined above), however, time sheets imported by employees will be automatically sent to management for approval before they are added into their confirmed work time.

To turn this feature on, go to the ‘Admin’ tab and click on ‘Account Settings’ on the left. Under the subheading ‘Time Clock Settings’, mark the checkbox next to ‘Employees can import Time Sheets’. Once you press ‘Save Settings’, this feature will be turned on and staff can immediately begin to upload their time sheets.
